                                    Clay Ganesh Workshop

“We have to go back to our tradition. Our forefathers concern for protecting the environment can be appreciated from a variety of bio-degradable leaves used for worshipping Lord Ganesha during the festival. The eco-friendly practice has contributed to preserving the rich bio-diversity of our nation,” Malleshwar  NSS  Program Officer added.
Lord Ganapati, the Lord of Wisdom will be visiting us on September 17th this month. Let us celebrate his annual visit in a wise manner.

We arranged workshop for NSS volunteers to get trained on how to make idols using clay. Volunteers trained how to prepare Ganesh Idols before the the festival.

It was a real fun for the children to put their fingers on the clay and produce beautiful idols of Lord Ganesh of different sizes and shapes under the guidance of clay modeller Mr.Venkat and our NSS volunteer Mr.Rathode who has been in training  since last 10 years..
Over 200 NSS Volunteers vowed to celebrate the big festival with clay idols made by them.
