VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK( CORRUPTION FREE INDIA)

OBJECTIVESCombating corruption through punitive action
                          Pre-empting corruption through systems review
                          Preventing corruption through education and advocacy

To  stimulate public awareness about corruption, corruption trends, corruption impact, and to enable the civil to raise their voice against corruption.In this regard Aurora college conducted a one day program on National Vigilance awareness with a theme of “CORRUPTION  FREE INDIA” in collaboration with UCO bank.  The event began at 12.30pm in RTC building with an introduction about anti corruption awareness. The guests for the event were Mr. Chandrahas, Assistant General Manager, UCO bank, Mr Murali, Senior Manager, UCO bank, and Mr. Ravi Prakash, Retired Employee, UCO bank. Mr Chandrahas  spoke   about the causes of corruption and its adverse effects on a common man, whereas Mr Murali highlighted the measures to be taken to curb the corruption. There was a skit performed on the theme corruption which gave a message to the audience about what hazardous effects it can have on the people . Slogans on  anti-corruption were recited by the student coordinators and the class volunteers. Prior to the event competitions like essay writing and elocution were conducted on the topic “MY VISION- CORRUPTION FREE INDIA” . The guests took an oath from the students to be free from corruption. The event concluded with the prize distribution to the winners of the above competitions mentioned
